Everything was great although I didn't really get the chevy Equinox SUV I really wanted didn't quite understand when you reserve why you can't get the one you reserved but the one I had was great it was a Dodge Journey.
Easy in, easy out. Rented Chrysler minivan for family road trip. Plenty of room for everyone. Good ride, good gas mileage. Only negative was having to use side mirrors to change lanes. There are too many blind spots with heads and window moulding.
The customer service agents were very welcoming, especially the new hires. The lead person stood by to make sure they processed the reservation correctly. However, the first vehicle given to me had too much damage for me to want to ride in it and definitely not pay to drive it. I went all the way back into the airport to let the lead know of my displeasure, asked for a new car and suggested that the other one be removed from the fleet or repaired. She obliged me [reluctantly it seemed] and I was pleased with the vehicle given.
All in all it was great I will definitely go back to Dollar Rental and will recommend them as well very friendly and courteous staff and very nice newer clean vehicles
Horrible experience do not rent from this company
I arrive to the Gulfport Airport and went to get my rental car that I reserved ahead of time only to have to wait on a car. They had me waiting over an hour after I arrived and I still had to drive to Hattiesburg MS. for military business. The customer service was horrible and there was no sense of urgency for the customers that had to wait over an hour for the car.
