Goodbye Shoe Carnival. I bought a pair of Skechers from the Gulfport location. They started falling apart in less than a month. Went in for an exchange. They did not have them and were going to have them shipped from another store. Was told I HAD to sign up for Shoe Perks or I would have to pay shipping. Since I didn't have a choice I signed up. When I got the shoes they came with different colored laces. NONE matching. Called the store where I made the original purchase & exchange and was told that "There was nothing they could do." I needed to contact the store they were shipped from. Seems to me that since my original purchase and exchange was done at the Gulfport store that they should take care of the mistake, and THEY should deal with the shipping store for the compensation. Not the customer. Oh well. I have worn work boots for the last 20 years. My wife convinced me to get some comfy shoes for a change, and this is my first shoe shopping experience since I was a teenager that did not involve a tool truck. It will be my last. I will stick with work boots and my wife will be shopping else ware from now on. All this over shoe laces??? NO, all this over a lack of customer service. Shoes fell apart in less than a month; had to sign up for shoe perks or pay shipping on the faulty product they stock; & I have to dance around fixing the mistakes of a chain store.
Prices okay better catch them on sale though
There are some awesome shoes here. I go every year around the beginning of the school year to get shoes.
