This is my second time to try Denny's. The first time I waited almost 45 minutes to get breakfast. We only ordered 2 meals. I figured it was just a busy morning prior to my arrival. Today, my husband and I went in at 11:40, we were greeted and seated. We immediately were able to place our order. Very few customers were there. After 2 cups of coffee and 40 minutes later I asked about our food. She state it was in the window. After another 5-7 minutes of my food sitting in the window, we left. I will not attempt to eat there again unless I am thirsty and want to just sit and not eat.
I've been coming here for along time. Back a few yrs ago. It was awesome. Now the waitresses do not take care of you. You have to find them and ask. And this is all the time. Who ever the cook is. Needs a dishwasher job. And put a real cook. Overall. This store needs a new makeover. With new management and new staff that actually likes there job.
My husband and i waited over 30mins for breakfast and it was not even busy. The waitresses keep sending plates back because they were'nt right, even i sent my plate back. Complained to manager, his response was i can't get good help. Well im a person of no public shame and expressed myself loudly. (Get it right). Would not recommend this Denny's to anyone. The waitresses were great but the cooks made they look bad.
Tally was our waitress she was wonderful even tho both my husband's and my squash and zucchini were sauteed instead of steamed like we asked. I believe that she would not have missed that detail if she was not running the entire restaurant. As the restaurant filled more and more she constantly called out for help, but none ever came. Come to find out she was calling for her manager in the back, which I think the name was Leann or something like that.... Whatever the name that manager should be fired and Ms. Tally should be promoted. She never lost her cool and kept her upbeat attitude and friendly smile throughout the entire time we were there! Thank u Ms Tally ur service was much appreciated!!!
Cook does not use gloves , seen him touch wall then refrigerator door then plates all while preparing food. Cross contaminating everything. My pancakes still had dough in the middle. Took almost 25 minutes for a simple build your own slam. Will never eat here again, probably not at any for a while.
