I have rented at least two temperature controlled units at this facility despite numerous changes in ownership. The most recent manager, Corey, gave me the absolute WORST experience of my life. Apparently there is ANOTHER new ownership change which resulted in MORE new policies, and he refused to give me a copy of my new lease (which I have never been provided, nor signed). I have always received a courtesy call PRIOR TO the date that a late fee is charged for your account. They also always sent an e-mail reminder prior to any late fees being charged to your account. It is difficult to remember the payment dates since the last time the due date was changed without my consent. Ever since Kassie and her team left, the latest management team is in dire need of "sensitivity training". I tried to ask politely for the name of the DISTRICT MANAGER and/or the business phone number for said district manager, but the office manager, COREY, proceeded to tell me he did not have that information!?!?! i.e. he did not know who his district manager was nor their business phone number? Having worked for a billion dollar cosmetic company prior to becoming a registered nurse, I have had the opportunity to work with and communicate with a plethora of different types of people. I drove over 30 minutes to the Tegarden office to pay my bill and Corey REFUSED to provide me with the above information I requested. How can one be held to new policies when you have never been given such changes in policy? I even called LAST MONTH and politely requested that they not TEXT me, rather continue to contact me via telephone call or e-mail as was common practice for the past decade+++. I've been a customer here since 1991 and referred many others as well. Recently I referred my father to a new unit and Corey was simply charming. Once we signed the agreement and I had this recent unfortunate incident with him refusing to assist me, I noticed his "charming" demeanor was merely a facade. As a geriatric/psychiatric nurse I work with people from ALL backgrounds and it takes someone with tremendous patience and empathy to do my job. Corey was more concerned with "who was right" rather than "what was right". By the way, NOBODY else was on the property during this altercation. He kept saying they were closing so I offered to leave and merely call the district manager, but again, he refused to provide any such information. I finally had to threaten to call the police when he refused to provide me with my leasing agreement which MUST be provided to a tenant upon request, especially when any changes are made. He finally looked up my file and claimed "Oh, you must be one of the ones we are still working on!" Okay, so it isn't my fault I have not been given any of the proper documentation and after I offered to leave since it was closing time, he then tries to call the police AFTER I threatened to call for back up in order to preserve my legal rights. This was a GROSS abuse of his "power" and a classic example of one who has NO business in ANY position of authority. I was so upset by his treatment of me that my blood pressure was 200/106!!! I have left numerous e-mails asking for the same information I requested in person. I have NO problem paying my bill, but absolutely deserve a copy of any new lease, any new changes, and so forth. I CERTAINLY deserve a phone call from his superiors to explain his abhorrent behavior. This is NO way to treat a longstanding customer since 1991!!!!! I don't care if I have to pay ten times the rent I pay now, I will NEVER refer anyone else to this facility. Also, the temperature controlled storage unit my father rented STILL has a broken keypad which is a serious security violation/risk. He promised it would be fixed immediately when my father chose to rent his most recent unit based on my unfortunate recommendation. SO sad since I have had some truly wonderful experiences with past ownership and past management of these facilities. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!! RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Great customer experience! Taken very good care of and catered to on a first name basis. Kassie goes over and beyond on placement, payment and expectations for what you need from a top notch "SECURED" storage facility!! I work late and often need access after hours to store or retrieve items, and I feel comfortable and safe doing that whether it's me or my wife. You pay for comfort and a piece of mind!! It's a bill I never mind paying once a month. Clean, secure, professional, and pleasant to experience. 110% HAPPY
