I have to agree with Andrew: Updated lobby but outdated rooms. Rooms were small. Front desk staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent but room was definitely overpriced.
Not in the choice network apparently...
In order of places we like to stay: Hampton, Country Inn and Suites, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express. Now the list will change and we're putting Hampton in last place. The last two places, Katy, TX and Gulfport, MS were at best $50.00 a night rooms, but charges were $100.00 +. Rooms need to be updated as well as the lobby. We're going to find out how much you put into the rooms within 5 minutes of leaving the front desk. Remember, we don't sleep in the lobby. Country Inn and Suites will be our next stop.
